DaleTree Decks and Outdoor Lighting
About
Whatever your deck project, we can help. Based out of Sioux Falls, SD, we service both the city and throughout the metro area. Our focus is on building decks, porches, pergolas, deck repair, and deck refitting projects.
We are a family owned and operated business that creates custom deck, pergola, & porch projects (during the warmer months) and installs outdoor low voltage lights and Christmas lighting (during winter time). License, bonded, and insured, our goal is to work with you to create an outdoor space to enjoy and make memories for years to come. Most of our decks are built using TimberTech or Trex composite materials requiring low ongoing maintenance so you can spend more time enjoying your outdoor space. We do also work with red cedar or pressure treated deck boards as well.
Our quotes often comes with an integrated railing included, unless otherwise noted that it’s not needed and code doesn’t require it. These railings can have either 2x2 wooden spindles or 1x2 black spindles, with both baluster types face mounted for extra strength. However, many would like to have their railing upgraded to either a composite kit or an all metal one, and we can certainly accommodate that in the quote as well.

Outstanding service ftom the whole team on our new deck! The crew showed up bright and early and were very efficient with their time installing this awesome composite deck. I’m surprised how fast it went up! They worked within my budget from the free estimate all the way to the final walkthrough. Love the metal rails and picture framing effect. A+, 5-stars, gold ribbon, Sioux Falls Best, whatever deck award, they deserve it!
Tim and his team did a great job rebuilding us a new deck. He was very creative as he worked with us and was very professional! His team did a wonderful job and we loved the craftmanship with the final product.
Tim puts his heart and soul into every DaleTree project, and it shows. The pieces we have from his shop are beautiful and always spark conversation in our house. I recommend you consider DaleTree for any woodworking or deck needs.
These guys did a fantastic job with our deck project. Excellent craftsmanship, very respectful of our property, cleaned up well, and communicated each day with job progress. Beautiful finished project and will absolutely hire them again!
Tim was wonderful to work with. The best way to communicate with him is via email. The finishing project was just as we expected
